A smart villa in Ho Chi Minh City. The watering schedule adjusts itself to measured temperature and humidity; the AI camera diagnoses disease and recommends care.

A live dashboard for every installation

Soil moisture per zone, air temperature and humidity, rain sensors, valve status — updated continuously and visible from your phone. The AI assistant sits inside the app and answers in Vietnamese.

AI that runs inside the home, never sent outside

Mainstream AI assistants send every question to servers overseas. Microbox goes the other way: we train our own small AI models — compact enough to run on a computer inside the house, yet specialised for one job, caring for the living space. In exchange for size, we gain four things large models cannot offer.

It runs on hardware already sold to the customer. More installations don't raise cloud costs.

Images and conversations inside a home are sensitive personal data under Vietnam's Law 91/2025/QH15. Process them on-site and there is nothing to leak.

In commercial operation at 6 villas across Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Phu Quoc.

Butler robot

A prototype AI robot that reads emotion — the hub coordinating every device in the home.

2027 – 2028

Leisure spaces

Extending into the relaxation and outdoor areas — deploying IoT devices at the pool and the bedroom.

Living spaces

Completing the remaining spaces — deploying IoT devices in the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the garage.

Long-term direction

Education

Building on the IoT foundation of the Smart Home ecosystem — Smart Garden and the butler robot — Microbox is working toward a STEM programme for students from age 6 through grade 12, using the real devices in the home as learning tools and bridging industrial application with academic study.

Eight years building real systems, before building our own product

2017

Microbox is founded — a Vietnamese technology company, on 7 November 2017.

2017 – 2025

Built and operated software systems for international clients — most notably an education group running more than 70 schools and centres across Singapore and Australia: school management, CRM, payments, HR and security testing.

05/2025

A full pivot to a product startup — an AI-based smart living ecosystem.

2026

Smart Garden enters commercial operation; the butler robot enters development.

A team of Vietnamese engineers working across four countries — bringing experience building and running international systems back into a Vietnamese product.
